The 3 different delays on the snare create an effect that keeps the track busy without adding in more melodies and more instrumentation. The main instrumentation only occurs in the hook of the rap beat where the main drums are added. This includes the snare the kick and the 808 bassline. Also some vocal samples are added to create sound effect of making the chorus.
